Branch news is here
The current President is our own Bob Dods.
The "Branch"was once the governing body for curling in Quebec. In 1852, the Montreal and Quebec City Curling Clubs sought affiliation with the Royal Caledonian Curling Club and hence the "Branch" was born. Today it is a committee of Curling Québec and oversees "Intermediate" competitions between Québec and Eastern Ontario. The Branch is divided into five districts, four of which are located in the province of Québec, outside the Outaouais region. (Note 1)
Our PCCC is in District 1 with these clubs of the ARCM.
As a committee of Curling Québec,
our Branch oversees several annual competitions, such as the Grand Match, the Tim Caverly Christmas Bonspiel, the Semi-finals and Finals of the Governor General's, and the Gordon.
