A fine addition to the Club

One of our coffee tables in the lounge is now a display cabinet designed by Wayne Arnold and donated by Ian Nelson.

Some trivia about our stones

Our resident historian and senator, Hu Whitehead, tells us that we no longer import our stones from Ailsa Craig. The six sets that we do have, however, come from there. Each set has been balanced more than once over the years, which is why the stones should not be switched to another sheet.

This painting of Ailsa Craig by J. G. Gordon, located on the 2nd floor landing, was donated to our club by Ernie Nash.

We have an interesting collection of very old stones and irons.
