The Royal Victoria Jubilee Section C Trophy

C Trophy - The  St. Lawrence Trophy (Donated by the St. Lawrence Curling Club, that  was disbanded in 1947-48, and in 1949, it was assigned as the second event  trophy in the Granite Singles Championship (Royal Caledonian Trophy).  In  1956, when the Royal Victoria Jubilee and the Royal Caledonian Trophy were  combined with the Lady Gilmore Trophy as the trophy for the third event, it  was left unassigned for that year. It became the "C" section trophy the  following year (1957) and has remained so ever since. Hu Whitehead, PCCC Club Historian
