Senators: a Celebration

http://www.photodex.com/sharing/viewshow?fl=3159849&alb=0

The link above brings you to the web site where you may view the Senators' show. Wayne Arnold is making his production available to all members.

To run the show, Photodex asks for the download of a plug-in for web media playback.  This is similar to the Flash plug-in and is perfectly safe to install.

Once the show starts, right click on the image and select "Full Screen" because the show looks so much better when it is in full screen.  Again, if one places the cursor at the bottom, the control slide bar will appear so the viewer can go back and forth within the show.  To get out of full screen mode, the viewer simply has to press the escape key (Esc) on the keyboard.

Advance the AV if desired; float your mouse over the viewer and a control bar appears: click ahead or backwards to view different parts of the show.

This show is only available to members with a PC. There is currently no version for Mac or Ubuntu Linux.

Senators' 2010 Closing Dinner

s

In the Marc Lecompte Final, Morgan Howard throws his last rock and is attempting an eight-ender. All he needs to do is tap his blue stone that is in the top 12-foot, which should tap the red stone out. With any luck, his shooter will wick in to be the 8th scoring stone in the house. See the captions below for what happened.

2
Morgan has already turned his back on his shot; the stone is about to sail through the house, missing his blue stone in the top 12-foot ring by barely 4 inches.
With a little trickery, Morgan's last rock has been "moved over" to where it should have hit the blue stone in the top 12-foot. This would have given him an Eight-Ender and probably cause Ray Giguère to throw in the towel!
